  This Tavannes Pocket Watch is a fine example of vintage craftsmanship from the early 1900s. With a yellow gold plated case and full hunter closure, the watch is a stunning piece of jewelry that will make a great addition to any collection. The mechanical (manual) movement ensures that the watch keeps accurate time, while the 12-hour dial and white dial color add to its elegant appearance. The pocket watch size is 1 3/8 inches and comes with its original case and rare ornate carry clasp. It has some blemishes on the watch that I did my best to show in the pictures.   I have up for sale a lovely antique circa 1900 give or take Illinois Watch Co TIGER Rolled Gold Plate Ladies Pendant Watch. Its just a gorgeous case and nicer yet comes with the original paper label for the “Tiger” case. The case measures approx a 36mm diameter and would definitely be considered a Ladies size watch but I will leave the for the individual to decide. Its a ornate case as you can see. The movement is LEVER SET Swiss made by the VALLON Watch Co. The movement ran for a half day, then I checked it later that evening and it stopped. The dial face is Excellent but the watch needs replacement hands as its missing the sub second hand and the minute/hour hands are damaged. The case is in Very Nice Original Condition – some modest wear on the back case but nothing significant. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING, PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX, AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE.   18th c Benjamin Sidey London Pocket Watch 4595 Ornate Gilt Silver Pair Case 1771

  18th century english pocket watch. Signed key wind Movement by benjamin sidey, London, model no. Dial: later white enamel, with black Roman numerals, 5 minute markers, fleur-de-lis hands. Inner case: plain polished Gilt Sterling, bearing english hallmarks for London (leopard’s head), sterling (lion), maker IW, date letter O for 1771, measures 41mm, has glass crystal. (there is a piece of paper that says Benj sidey 1769 inside the outer case, that date may be for the movement). Outer case: ornate gilt silver, featuring repousse mythological scene with two figures within a scrolling framework, measures 47.5mm. As is condition, no key, we don’t know if it works, the outer case has some wear to the gilt finish on the high points, was in storage for many years, previously owned, from the collection of a local pocket watch collector. Any payments received for orders on those days will be processed on the following Tuesday afternoon. Our regular brick and mortar store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 12 noon to 6pm.
