  This Tavannes Pocket Watch is a fine example of vintage craftsmanship from the early 1900s. With a yellow gold plated case and full hunter closure, the watch is a stunning piece of jewelry that will make a great addition to any collection. The mechanical (manual) movement ensures that the watch keeps accurate time, while the 12-hour dial and white dial color add to its elegant appearance. The pocket watch size is 1 3/8 inches and comes with its original case and rare ornate carry clasp. It has some blemishes on the watch that I did my best to show in the pictures.   Up for sale is a great looking 1928 Elgin 16 size 21 jewel adjusted B. Raymond pocket watch in a 12k gold filled Star Watch Case Co/Elgin R. Case out of an estate! The case shows light scratches and some significant areas of wear-through, the crown has been replaced, and the glass crystal has been replaced with a plastic one. The lever-set movement is marked: B. Raymond Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. 21 Jewels 30474803 Adjusted 5 Positions. Movement dates to 1928. The watch is running, however we recommend it be serviced in order to keep running and keep time. The watch will wind and set properly.   Pristine Rare Appleton Tracy & Company Pocket Watch Grade 1865 Housed in this Classic Solid 18K Gold Hunter Case circa 1871. Folks we have very special offering for your consideration in this pristine Appleton Tracy & Company Pocket Watch circa 1871. We have an extremely rare Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch housed this classic 18K Gold Hunter Case. This fine timepiece is a rare size 10 first introduced in July of 1865 and measuring 1¾ inch in diameter. This pocket watch was meticulously maintained and we have an original period Leather & Velvet Linked Presentation Box. This size 10 is very rare in that most pocket watches manufactured at this time were a size 18 or 20 and are heavy and measured 2¼ plus inches in diameter. This would have been the Gentleman’s Dress Pocket Watch of the day and a symbol of status and prestige. Was first introduced before the start of the Civil War in July 1865. We have a very early American Pocket Watch, truly a timepiece of both Horologic and American History. We have the classic and most desired of configurations with this solid 18K Gold Hand Engraved and Black Enameled Hunter Case, porcelain dial with classic Roman numerals, highlighted with rare heat treated blued steel Spade Dial Hands. Was formed in 1857 and in 1859 they merged with the Waltham Improvement Co. Forming the American Watch Co. In 1885 they reorganized into the American Waltham Watch Co. And production was very limited until after the Civil War ended on May 9th 1865. Was first introduced just after the end of the Civil War in July 1865. These fine Hunter Case Pocket Watches are getting very hard to locate in this pristine condition and with this rare movement we have a truly desired and collectable timepiece. The 14 or 18K Gold Hunter Cases are a very soft metal; the 18K cases are less common due to the soft nature of the metal.
