Vintage MOVADO Leather Travel Pocket Watch – works! Please note it needs a crystal face cover!! I took this to my jeweler. He says it works really well. I was told by a collector that this isn’t really missing the Crystal case. It’s possibly a pocket watch for a blind person?? There is raised parts on the watch face that presumably would help a blind person tell what time it is! I have no idea of this is accurate but it would make sense if it were true. This was my dad’s- he had it for decades! I’m not sure of original age of it. Looks Art Deco to me but I really don’t know. Movado Ermeto sold by Eberhard Milano solid silver case, working, exc+++++

This is a ninety/ninety-five years old Ermeto pocket watch, by Movado, very famous and still usable, but mainly a collectable piece. Solid silver case, with a beautiful and original, never redone, deco dial with gold Breguet style arabic numerals and index hands. You can wind the watch opening and closing the outer case, and this mechanism is still working. The watch measurements are: closed 47x33mm, open 71x32mm. Trattasi di un bellissimo Movado Ermeto in argento massiccio, databile intorno al 1930/35, ancora in ottimo stato e funzionante. Il corpo e la cassa interna sono in argento massiccio, il bellissimo quadrante, originale e mai ristampato è veramente affascinante, con dei grandi numeri arabi e le belle lancette index. La particolarità di questo orologio, sopratutto per il collezionista italiano, è che era stato venduto da Eberhard Milano, il più famoso negozio italiano del periodo, concessionario Patek Philippe, Vacheron & Constantin, oltre ovvviamente ad Eberhard e ad altre marche famose. Eccellenti condizioni, buono stato di funzionamento. Movado Ermeto early 1930/35 steel case working, exc+++++

This is a 85/90 years old Ermeto pocket watch, by Movado, very famous and still usable, but mainly a collectable piece. This example is quite special, being one of the very early models, with steel case and manual wind (most of the later pieces can be wound by opening and closing the watch itself), with a beautiful and original, never redone, deco dial with arabic numerals and index hands. The watch measurements are: closed 49×34.5mm, open 74×34.5mm. Trattasi di un bellissimo Movado Ermeto in acciaio raro… , databile intorno al 1930/35, ancora in ottimo stato e funzionante. Il corpo e la cassa interna sono in acciaio, il bellissimo quadrante, originale e mai ristampato è veramente affascinante, con numeri arabi, indici fosforescenti e le belle lancette index. La particolarità di questo orologio, soprattutto per il collezionista, è che questo orologio appartiene alle prime serie del Movado, con il caricamento completamente manuale invece di semiautomatico aprendo e chiudendo l’orologio stesso.
