This is a very fine & MINT ” OMEGA ” ART-DECÓ from 1940 with a Stainless Steel case, with reference number: 9417939; size (aprox): 47.3 mm (excluded the crown). Fine manual OMEGA movement # 8778105, Cal. # 38.5LT1 with 15 jewels. Silvered two tone dial (ORIGINAL) with blue hands and silvered arabig numerals. A vintage Garland pocket watch with a 10K rolled gold-plate case by Keystone Victory and a Swiss-made 17 jewel movement by Belvu Ball Company. This piece comes with its original hardshell acrylic case. All I had to do was wind it and it immediately began telling time I adjusted the hands to the correct time and a week later it still is showing the correct time within a few seconds. There are only very very light scuff marks on the back of the watch. The crystal feels like glass not plastic. It has also only very light marks. Although it seems like it may very well be new old stock. It may simply be extremely well maintained. The face or dial shows know where the numerals all appear to be completely intact. That all of the old watches I’ve ever seen the numerals or the markings for minutes are either completely or slightly worn off but here. All of the gold numerals appear to be completely 100% intact. The same with a minute markings. All of the gold there appears as well to be perfectly intact. The same with the minute and hour hands. The same with the secondary clock that shows seconds all of the gold there appears as well to be perfectly intact. I’ve honestly never seen a watch this old in such good condition. That said this is a watch from the 1940s or earlier (and that is merely an educated guess based on info online not personal knowledge). The photos as they are part of the description. Museum quality, complete, in excellent condition and good working order as good as they get! It comes complete with its original 4 cases. Outer silver shell case, tortoise shell & silver case and then silver pair case. Inner silver cases are hallmarked for London 1869. The outer silver case is in remarkably good condition considering its age, some age related wear and marks. The tortoise shell case is also in great condition with only very minor losses to the pins shell or pins. Inner silver pair cases are in excellent condition. Larger silver case with detailed engravings of high quality. Please study the pictures (please message me if youd like some more pics). The watch has an English verge fusee, chain driven movement. Engraved balance cock and steel regulator disk Movement signed Edw Prior, London, 11825. The movement is working well and runs the full length of the chain.
