The #s on the movement are, 13993391 made in 1909. This is a big watch, it measures from side to side 58.25 mm. The dial is clean with no hairlines, you can see in the pictures. In heavy, stylish and beautifully made eighteen carat gold pair cases 57mm diameter. Both hallmarked 1806, case maker IN. Both movement and case are all original and in great condition. Case joints are perfect, and closes with no jumping. No old damage or repairs. The movement is in exceptional condition and runs well, it has recently been serviced. Verge fusee movement is all exquisitely finished with a superbly pierced and engraved balance cock and slide plate with the fire gilding perfect. With fitted dust cap. Verge escapement has jewelled balance holes, with a facetted diamond endstone on the balance cock. Beautiful dead white gloss enamel dial in perfect original condition, no chips cracks etc. And with no horrible acrylic’restoration. Stop lever for hack function if it is required to check the pulse etc. This watch is altogether in very good condition and appears not to have had much use. Together with morocco box.   A little later Elgin 18 size pocket watch that is key wind and key set… Serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1883… The movement is quite ordinary, but the case is great… First the case appears to be a stem wind case with the crown, but when the movement’s out there is no hole in the case latch spring… The front bezel is also hinged… Look at photos, not much wear to the covers or the center band heavy engine turning.. No dents or dings… Front cover opens smart. Y to 90 degrees. Glass crystal is fitted to bezel… The gilded movement runs great and keeps time… Movements was cleaned snd oiled a few years ago. Compensated balance runs true and had good motion.. Appears to be 11 jewels.. Winding is smooth as is the setting.. A period key is included with the watch… Excellent white enamel dial with contrasting blue steel hand set..
