A GOOD, ANTIQUE GENT’S GOLD PLATED LIMIT SWISS MADE HUNTER CASED POCKET WATCH. A very good quality. Gentleman’s Gold Plated, Swiss made, Hunter Cased Pocket Watch. This watch is a very nice example, in great condition and very good working order. The English made, gold plated hunter case is in very good condition, although it does have some minor indents. It is stamped with the case maker’s trade mark “ALD” for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o’clock. It is signed by the maker Limit No. The good quality, Swiss made movement is in very good working order, running well, winds smoothly and sets as it should. It is signed by the maker. A GOOD ANTIQUE LARGE EIGHT DAY GOLIATH SWISS POCKET WATCH & TRAVEL CASE. A very nice, antique, 8 Day “Goliath” large oversized Pocket Watch, complete with the original fitted travel case. The watch case is in good condition. It is stamped “Argentan” to signify the case is made from an alloy, also referred to as “Nickel Silver”, it is a copper/nickel alloy that has the appearance of silver but is far more durable. Also stamped “Swiss made” alongside the serial number. The Dial is in good condition, with the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o’clock. Signed “Swiss made” and “8 Days”. The Swiss made “8 Day” movement is in good condition and working order. Also signed “Swiss made”. There is also “Brevet” alongside the Swiss Federal Cross and number 33236 – this indicates that a patent was granted. The movement is running well. The watch is complete with the original fitted, leather covered, travel case. The travel case in good condition but with scuffs to the leather as can be expected – see photos. GOOD CASE / VERY NICE 1916 ELGIN 16S 7J POCKET WATCH. Working but is ticking very slowly, kept poor time when tested, balance staff ok, will need a service to keep perfect time. 1920 Elgin, Grade 293, Model 7, Class 110, 7J, 16S, stem set, stem wind with date serial number 18783750. The gold plated case is 52.5mm in diameter. Dial has a few very faint cracks, excellent case with the case back engraved 1903. With a service it will be a great pocket watch. Fine and rare, 14CT Gold Waltham Hunter Cased Pocket Watch, complete with the original presentation case/box. This watch is an excellent example, in superb condition and very good working order. The fancy, decoratively engraved, heavy, 14 carat solid gold hunter case is in excellent condition. It is stamped with the case maker’s name Dubois W. Co” for the Dubois Watch Case Company and also stamped “14K U. Assay for 14 carat solid gold. The Dubois Watch Case company, a maker of high grade watch cases was established in 1887. It specialised in the manufacture of expensive, highly ornate watch cases. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o’clock. It is signed by the maker “Waltham”. The good quality, high grade, 15 Jewels, Waltham movement is in excellent working order. It is signed by the maker “AWWCo, Waltham Mass” and has a lovely damaskeened finish. It has a micro-metric regulator. All signs of a very good watch.
