  Very handsome square pillar verge watch in unmolested condition. Silver gilt inner with gilt metal pendant and a gilt metal outer; this was common practise in the 18th century as the outer took the knocks. This watch is guaranteed all original. Silver gilt inner in good condition with some of the original gilding remaining. Vernon and Eden of Liverpool are listed in Baillie as working in 1767. The gilding is worn from the outer. There is an armorial on the back. All of the hinges are tight and undamaged. Dial is perfect and with the original gold beetle and poker hands is simply stunning. The movement is also in fabulous condition with all original screws (not many can say that) and keeping good time with a vigorous quiet tick.   Ulysse Nardin Split Chronograph w 30min Register Gun Metal Case 4 Service#280. This particular chronograph has no crown or stem. It does have damage to the four oclock position but the balance appears to move freely. The internals look like theyre in pretty good shape and there appears to be no missing parts. If you check the photos I have included current price listing for the most current watch value guide. Please note the 30 minute register alone is worth an extra thousand dollars added to the price. In West Lynn (near Boston, USA). Possibly before and after. I didnt extend my research. These watches might have had a military role in the American aviation. The General Electrics made among others things, turbines, and owned an aviation plant in West Lynn since 1892. During WWI, they developed a booster for plane motors, for the US military. « The Lynn plant has long played a vital role in national defense. GE was already the world leader in exhaust-driven supercharging when World War II began. This company still exists nowadays. I sell for my sons medical and childcare needs.
