1970s Smiths Rally Timer Dashboard Timer Stopwatch in Chrome ABS Case 60min

1970s Smiths Rally Timer 1/5th 60min timer. Case diameter 68mm (70.3mm including crown), 21mm thickness in lightweight ABS plastic case. Dial is formerly Ingersoll branded but the brand has worn off and is only very faintly visible, you can just about make out part of the word Ingersoll above the 30s mark but really its so faint I feel I might be imagining it. Some cosmetic flaws, there are some kinks in the periphery of the dial plate, hardly noticeable, some light scuffing to the crystal but no deep cracks. Entirely British-made 18,000bph Smiths. 19PY movement has been stripped, inspected, ultrasonically cleaned, re-lubricated, oiled, and adjusted. Stop/start via side pusher, reset via depression of the crown. The stop-balance arm is provided with a lock to prevent reset whilst the watch is running, but this lock can be overcome if too much downward force is applied to the crown. If the mainspring has run down completely without the resetting the hands it will not be immediately apparent whether the watch is stopped or in run mode, in this case always fully wind the watch before resetting. Multi colored 14k Gold Hunting case pocket watch

A beautiful multi color 14k gold Vallon pocket watch. The dial and movement are marked Vallon. The dial has a couple of hairlines. Case is marked Warranted 14k U. Inner bezel is marked 14k and a number 501721. The watch runs very weakly and will definitely need servicing as it stops after a minute or so. The crystal is not attached and loose. The case measures approx 34 inches in diameter. The Total including the movement weighs 30.7 grams not including the plastic crystal. The inside of the case has a few holes where the outside dots have been soldered, please see the detailed photos. Case is very pretty and I believe there are 4 colors of gold used, yellow, pink, green and white. The shield on one front has a monogram on it. I have no idea what the net gold weight on this is. Silver pair cased verge pocket watch, mock pendulum – London, c1700. Silver pair cases, 57.25 mm. Mock pendulum verge movement. A large London verge, with fine and rare mock pendulum movement. MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced winged balance cock and plate, engraved regulator disk and four square pillars. The balance cock table is cut out to reveal a mock pendulum bob, which is attached to the 2 spoke balance wheel. In exceptionally good complete condition, with the the gilding still bright, and the movement running well. DIAL : Fine, original, silver champleve dial, signed in the centre Patrick, London. All in good condition with no excessive rubbing or wear. Nice original early 18th century blued steel hands. INNER CASE : Silver with makers mark rubbed. Damage around the neck, where the pendant has been replaced, and the inside strengthened. The hinge has been repaired on the bezel, and the rim of the case is slightly distorted. The high dome crystal has no chips or cracks, but surface scratches. However the bezel does snap shut securely. OUTER CASE : Silver , with no marks. Excellent condition throughout, with just some tiny bruises. The hinge, catch button and catch are fine, and the case snaps shut correctly. The inner case is slightly distorted so is not a perfect fit for the movement or outer case. It is possibly a replacement case, though the outer is probably original. Both are of the correct period for the movement. The inner case requires some repair and when strengthened and shaped correctly will provide a better fit for both movement and outer. Waltham 1904 18S 15j Open Face Pocket Watch Gold-Filled 20-Year Case Works

This is an excellent pocket watch for a discriminating collector. The 15j movement works and keeps accurate time, but winds a bit roughly. The front unscrews and the movement swings out from the case. The case is in great condition for it’s age with some light superficial scratches on the back. The dial is clean without cracks or blemishes and the glass crystal is clear with a single scratch. Please contact me with any questions or concerns and allow 24 hours for a reply.
