  A very interesting and most important. NEAR MINT SIZE OGION SILVER GILT watch. With champleve dial and shagreen outer case. Egyptian silver ornaments to the top of the pillars. BY WILLIAM HAYDON LONDON. PLEASE DO TAKE TIME TO READ THE FULL LISTING AND DO ENLARGE THE PHOTOGRAPHS TO GET A BETTER LOOK. The size of the outer shagreen case is EDGE TO EDGE 56m. All the pins are pin place both on the front and back of the case. The case with the watch is silver gilt in very good condition size 49m. (some gilt worn off). Very fine original iron black beetle and poker hands. DIAL Champleve is in perfect condition with the makers name HAYDON LONDON. NOTE the mark at IV is the catch to lift the movement out. The glass is very very high domed bull nose mineral clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs very well the time keeping is great + or – 1-2 minuets per hour. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OVER 300 TO RUN THIS WELL WHAT A GREAT WATCHMAKER HAYDON WAS. With a very fine engraved back plate with the makers name Wm HAYDON LONDON with an exceptional decorated balance cock with a grotesque face and an angel’s face. PLEASE NOTE THE BEAUTIFUL EGYPTIAN PILLARS WITH SILVER ORNAMENTS. WILLIAM HAYDON IS A WELL LISTED MAKER. The watch will come with a key. Just great to have such an amazing and interesting watch that is as good as this one, and it just has every thing one could want on a fine verge watch, very hard to find a watch in this condition with all that it has going for it. This watch is so very well priced, and well presented. An absolute must for any serious collector or would make a wonderful present.   This watch is a nice Large18SZ, Total WT. 4.1 oz Elgin antique pocket watch & fob in nice 2 Tone Sterling Silver case. (Brass Inlay) Its a 7 jewels – just serviced, Runs good. The #s on the movement are, 11048487, made in 1904. This is a 116 year old watch, running very good, Its 53.3 mm from side to side. The dial has a no hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The crystal is new, very nice. The case looks great, nice , has a few small dings and dents, and scratches which is normal for this old of a watch.. Its a stem wind and stem set. Has a tight bow.   A classic high grade railroad pocket watch, made by the Illinois Watch Co. In the very scarce Bunn Special Model. This beautiful watch is an 18 size, Model 6, open face, lever set, fitted with the Gothic Style Railroad Dial and a 21 jewel movement. The watch is completely original to 1897 and features a beautiful 2 tone nickel damaskeened rear plate with screw down gold jewel settings, and fancy Gothic script, also a diamond end stone and ruby jewels. The double sunk porcelain dial is in good condition with a couple of minor chiggers visible in the pics and signed Illinois Watch Co. The case is an original 10K gold filled Illinois Watch Case with its original bow and lightly engraved back. The watch has been running and keeping time and has been fitted with a acrylc crystal which is clear. Nice example for a devoted railroad pocket watch collector.
