  Good British verge fusee pocket watch in silver pair case. Diameter of outer case is 55mm, thickness is 32mm. Nice champleve dial and movement are signed by Massy London. Cuss in his book “The English Watch” shows the watch similarly signed by Maßsy p. 146, attributing it to Henry Massy about 1710. It’s worth to note, that his father, Nicholas Massy, French born (Blois) French Huguenot, emigrated to London about 1680, he became member of Clockmaking company in 1682 and died at 1698. Cuss, cock with D-shaped leg, steel balance wheel, barrel with endless worm stopwork. It can be dated to 1710s. The movement is not numbered, as well as the watch illustrated by Cuss. Video will open in a new window. Condition The watch appears to be in ok condition. Movement appears to be in good running condition and works in every position. Champleve silver dial is in good condition. Inner Case is in good condition with some period wear. Outer case has old crack and soldering near the top of back cover.   Waltham’s hunter case type 15 stone pocket watch. The size is about 50 mm including the crown and about 36 mm excluding the crown. When I referred to it by serial number, it seemed to be between 1903 and 1906. Although it is small, the sculpture is a beautiful case. The case itself has no major scratches and there is no dial or vivi. The draft shield and the metal ring that secures the draft shield are not included, so you need to create one.   This handsome Ermeto travel watch is perfect on a chain or sitting with its easel back on a desk or nightstand. The face features Roman numerals, a double circle with tick marks and a sweep hand. There is a chain loop on one corner of the dark brown alligator case. The front is marked Movado, Chrometre, Ermeto, Swiss Made. The back has the production numbers 1235 603M. Similar watches are referenced in the NAWCC Bulletin, 1994. When closed, the watch measures approximately 2 by 1.25 inches and opens to a width of 3 inches. There is a fold-away easel stand on the back. The watch casing is in good condition, consistent with age and usage. However, the mechanics need restoration, and the price reflects this.
