A small Georgian pair-cased verge pocket watch c1780. The cases are tarnished and look to be brass which was originally gilded but most of this is worn off except for the inside of the inner case. The dial has hairlines as shown and original’beetle and poker’ hands are fitted which are in good condition. The crystal is an early high domed one (not bullseye) and looks contemporary. It could do with re-polishing to imorove clarity. Please see all pictures for measurements and condition details. This is a classic Gentleman’s Rose Gold filled Full Hunter pocket watch with a superb ALD “Dennison” 20 year Moon case made from plates of solid 10ct Rose Gold with metal strengthening core, a true Gold filled Dennison case. The watch has come from a great old estate and has a good original estate find feel, it winds very well and hand sets as it should and works with a very strong steady action, it has not been tested but its working very well at present, the case is also opening and shutting as it wants to be and its never been engraved, its also the original case to the watch and its all genuine, even has its tatty old shammy leather pocket which is possibly why its in such fine original condition still now. Good honest estate find watch, suggest its cleaned and serviced before daily use but it will make a great watch to use. Size : Across approx 52 mm across the case front as viewed. Vintage 1950s Pair of Rally Timers Rocar & Smiths Stopwatch in Wooden Perspex Case In excellent working condition with minimal age related wear that does not detract from its overall presentation or use, it features 2 metal cased stopwatches, one an English made Smiths and the other a Swiss made Rocar They both work as they should, there is some minor tarnishing to their rear cases.
