  Up for sale is a beautiful and rare antique 18s Waltham model 1892 Vanguard 23 jewel Hunter case pocket watch. This watch was made in 1901. This watch runs great and keeps good time. Movement : This watch runs great and keeps great time. The beautiful high grade movement is in very good condition. It has 23 jewels, gold jewel settings, diamond end stones, ruby jewels, gold balance weights, adjusted to 5 positions, a high grade regulator, and all matching serial numbers! Dial : The original Waltham dial is in nice condition. Case : The beautiful gold filled case is in very good condition. The covers open and close as they should. This case is not the original but this case looks almost amazing and it is correct! This beautiful watch is ready to display or carry! I will include a key.   Rare antique Verge watch gold gilded and hand painted horn case. Made by Peter Parkinson of London. Perfectly working verge fusee movement with a beautiful engraved. Balance bridge, signed: P. The really gorgeous miniature hand painted horn outer watch case is in an extremely. Good conserved condition, hard to find, very rare. The dial has a few hair lines and a small repair on the edge between 1 and 3 o clock. The crystal glass is near mint. The movement is recently serviced, running with a great motion and a good strong tick. In all positions, keeps reasonable verge time. Across 56mm, including bow 82mm. Will be delivered with a fitting key, and an extra key set of 14 pcs. Watches of this period are not accurate Quartz timekeepers. See my other items. The porcelain dial has some hairlines and a repair spot between 5 & 6 o’clock. Inside the case back is marked: EFCo Longines 0.800 638314. THIS WATCH WAS IN A COLLECTION FOR MANY YEARS, AND IS PROBABLY PRETTY DRY. CASE IS MARKED FAHYS, 14 K. THE CASE IS IN VERY, VERY, NICE CONDITION. I DON’T SEE ANY DENTS OR DINGS. IT IS BEAUTIFULLY ENGRAVED, ON BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK. THE SHIELD DOES HAVE INITIALS, ALSO THE DUST COVER IS ENGRAVED. IT SAYS FROM EDDIE TO IDA.   From an old clockmakers workshop clearance.. This is a New Old Stock N. It was made a few years ago for a restoration project. This item is just as cast, it consists of THREE PARTS ie. Backing/mounting plate, Chapter ring and inner Cartouche plate. I have shown the three parts just put together, they would require adjustment/fettling etc. It was cast from an original antique dial. Hence it is a beautiful thing and obviously well made/designed! It has been cast in WHITE BRONZE metal, please google this if you need to understand it. It has a very similar look to silver and here is shown tarnished (from about 15 years storage). Please see pictures for best description and sizes..
