SUPERB and RARE VERGE FUSEE Pocket Watch. Recently fully & professionally serviced. In great working condition! Runs the full length of the chain with a hard sounding tick and keeping verge time. The movement shines like it was made yesterday, is signed “Thomas Knight” from Stone and bears the early serial number 267. Nice old original blue steel hands. All covers open and close with a tight fit as it should. Enamel dial with name “George Ollivants” on it in a very good condition with a very small restauration on the center hole! Old bulls eye glass looks perfect! Both cases are not identical but it’s a perfect fit. The inner case has hallmarks for Birmingham 1864 and the outer case for London 1858. Cases are solid sterling silver, hand polished and looking great. Original old glasgow James Forrest watchpaper and fitting key are included. A superb addition to each valuable collection.
