  1927 SILVER CASED ROLEX EXTRA PRIMA 17 JEWELLED SWISS LEVER POCKET WATCH WORKING. Vintage Circa 1927 silver cased 17 jewelled Rolex Extra Prima Swiss lever pocket watch in good working order. The dial is white enamel with black coloured Roman numerals and blued steel hands with sub-dial and marked Rolex. The movement is fully jewelled with a Swiss lever escapement clean with a good strong tick keeping good time and marked Rolex Extra Prima 17 seventeen Rubies Swiss Made Timed in 6 Positions and Temperature. The back cover is marked to the inside W&D (Wilsdorf and Davis). With Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1927 ALD and the number 541372. The movement cover is marked to the inside Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd Regular ALD Lion and date letter C. It is button wind and set. The dial and dial glass are clean and clear and free from any chips or cracks. The case is clean and bright and has worn as to its age with both the front and back covers closing down nice and tight. It Measures 50mm excluding crown. It comes supplied with an Albert watch chain and Rolex cardboard box as in the photos. Please note the watch chain is not marked. Be sure to add me to your.   THIS IS A WINEGARTEN RAILWAY REGULATOR NICKEL CHROMIUM CASED POCKET WATCH. IT DATES FROM AROUND 1910. IT WAS USED AS A RAILWAY WATCH. IT IS SIGNED ON THE DIAL WINGARTENS 145 BISHOPSGATE LONDON E. IT IS SIGNED ON THE MOVEMENT WINEGARTENS 7 JEWELS 534 SWISS MADE. THIS IS A CORTEBERT 534 MOVEMENT. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, THE NICKEL CHROMIUM NICKEL CASE HAS JUST MINOR NATURAL AGE. IT HAS A SCREW FRONT AND BACK. THE ENAMEL DIAL HAS NO HAIRLINES, IT HAS A CHIP ON ITS EDGE, BUT THIS IS UNDER THE RIM OF CASE AND CANNOT BE SEEN, WITH THE WATCH IS IN USE. THE THICK GLASS IS QUITE CLEAN. THE WATCH WINDS SMOOTHLY, AND RUNS WELL, KEEPING GOOD TIME. IT IS A LARGE 55MM ACROSS THE CASE. IT HAS A LEATHER STRAP WITH BUTTON BAR.   Here’s a nice 18 size Hamilton 17 jewel grade 937 from 1895. The original double sunk porcelain dial has a light hairlines at 8 and 11. The blued steel hands are good and it has a nice glass crystal. Was cleaned, oiled, and adjusted last year then put away. It sets, winds, and. Runs perfectly and it keeps good time. The 20 year gold filled case has nice engravings. The gold looks to be getting thin in places but not a lot of brassing. All covers work 100%. The bow is not tight.   Here’s a nice 18 size 17 jewel Illinois Bunn from around 1895. The original double sunk porcelain dial faces up nicely but does have a few faint hairlines. The glass hunter crystal is in excellent shape and the blued steel hands are as well. This watch was cleaned and oiled last fall. It sets, winds, and runs strong and it keeps. The serial number is 1282850 it is a 5th pinion model 5 with the Chalmers. The case is an early Keystone heavy gold filled with offset hinges. All covers open and close properly and to 90 degrees. The only wear is from a fob on the. Inside part of the bow. I have been informed that this is in fact not a 5th pinion model. Sorry for the misinformation.
